Ocoee Utility District currently service customers in Bradley and Polk Counties, providing quality water to about 7,000 active customers.
History
Our history of water service began in 1964 when needs for water in rural areas were essential. The district was born out of a vision of community leaders and residents that saw the need for clean and safe drinking water. The first building was located in Ocoee, TN and serviced about 500 customers.
Service Areas
Ocoee Utility District is based in Cleveland, Tennessee. Our service area encompasses 181 square miles of Bradley and Polk Counties. Major water sources are natural springs and wells in the surrounding area.
Regulatory Agencies
The Ocoee Utility District operates according to the rules and regulations as established by our Board of Commissioners in accordance with requirements of the State of Tennessee Division of Water Supply or State Tennessee Comptrollers Office, as applicable.
