Polk Count Water Service

1. Bradley North Water Line Extension
Installation of over ten miles of new water lines to provide service to the District’s northernmost service area.

2. Goodwill Road Water Line Replacement Project
Replacement of existing lines on Goodwill Road as well as the installation of new water lines to loop Owenby Road with the new and existing lines on Goodwill Road. District crews are completing the service switchovers to the new lines at this time with a completion date within the next month.

3. GIS Data Collection
The District teamed with the GIS staff at Jacobs Engineering to complete the digital mapping of the District’s assets in the distribution system in order to enhance our asset management in the field and for use in planning and project development.

 

 

1. HWY 64 South Sewer Project Phase I
This project will install the District’s first sewer mains on the south side of HWY 64. The project will begin near the McClanahan Road intersection and go east to about Hancock Road. The project is estimated to begin late summer this year and be completed within two to three months. Some upgrades to the existing water system in the area will be included in the project as well.

2. Hildabrand Road Water Extension
Water main extension to provide service to the property formerly known as the Hildabrand Farm. Construction to start later this summer and should take about a month to complete.

3. Wildwood Springs WTP Expansion Project
The expansion project will add a new treatment stream and additional raw water capacity. Possible 2019 construction start.

4. Wildwood Springs Supply Trunk Line
Installation of a new, higher capacity water supply line from the water plant to the distribution system. Probable 2020 start and will take approximately one year to complete installation.

5. Old Parksville Road Wastewater Treatment Plant
Construction New wastewater treatment facility capable of treating approximately 400,000 gallons per day.

6. Valley View Water Tank
500,000 gallon capacity reservoir for our growing south Bradley County customer base. Anticipated 2021 construction.
