Current/Future Projects:

1. HWY 64 South Sewer Project Phase I
The District now has its first sewer mains online on the south side of HWY 64. The project serves the area east of McClanahan Road to Crescent Drive.

2. Willis Water Storage Facility
The 500,000 gallon Aquastore reservoir services the south Bradley & Polk County portion of the District’s distribution system. This project is part of a four phase effort to prepare our south Bradley County system for the future. The additional phases are the Keith Valley Road Water Line Replacement Project Phases I & II, and the Samples Chapel Road Area Water Line Replacements Phase I & II.

3. Keith Valley Road Water Line Replacement Project Phase I
The project replaced and upsized approximately 37,000 feet of existing pipeline and added 3,000 feet of new water mains. This project allows the District to maximize the performance of the Willis Storage Facility.

4. Hildabrand Road Water Line Extension
Water mains were installed to provide service to the property formerly known as the Hildabrand Farm.

5. Old McClure Road Water Line Extension
Water mains were extended in the spring of 2020 to provide service to previously unserved Old McClure Road and the portions of Cedar Springs Road that did not have water service.

1. Bradley County Taylor Elementary Sewer Main & Lift Station Project
The project is currently underway and will extend low pressure sewer mains from Waterlevel HWY to Taylor Elemantary, consisting of 10,000 feet of sewer main and the lift station at the school. This project is a partnership of the District with Bradley County and the Bradley County School Board via a community development block grant ( CDBG ).

2. Old Parksville Road Wastewater Treatment Plant
A new treatment facility is currently under design. The plant will eventually have the capacity to treat 500,000 gallons per day.

3. Wildwood Springs Water Treatment Plant & Trunk Line Project
The existing treatment facility will receive a complete makeover and expanded capacity to 2.0 million gallons per day. In addition to the improvements at the facility, a new 21,000 linear foot trunk line will be installed to deliver the treated water to the distribution system. Construction is anticipated to begin summer of 2021.

4. Keith Valley Road Area Water Line Replacements Phase II
This project will upsize and replace 19,500 linear feet of older existing water mains. Construction to commence winter of 2020.

5. Carpenter Springs Water Treatment Plant Improvements
The District is developing an additional well to add to the raw water resources available. Also a new 500,000 Aquastore finished water clearwell will be included in the improvements package.

6. HWY 64 Parksville Dam Water Line Extension
This project will serve approximately 3500 linear feet of the HWY that is currently not served with water. Construction start is pending.

7. Chestuee Road Sewer Extension Phase II
Sewer extension planned for Chestuee Road to approximately the Old York Road intersection and includes Virgil Rymer Road and Dakota Drive. Construction to begin early 2021.
