Ocoee Utility District

Important Information

Check the Community Board page for any scheduled outages.

Cut Off Valve
Do not use the cut off valve on your meter to turn the water off
The cut off valve located in the meter box is for the use of the district only.  State law prohibits tampering with this or any other utility property.  You are required to have a main cutoff located outside of our meter box.  Any violation to this could lead to a discontinuation of service, fines, or arrest.

Leaks
Leaks don't go away on their own they only get worse with time.  They cause property damage and can become expensive to repair.  Take care of leaks as soon as they are identified, it saves water, money, and limits the complications of water damage.  If you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, you might consider shutting off your main water line (irrigation and sprinkling systems should be left on).  This should reduce the likelihood that a leak will cause damage while you're away.

The District does provide relief on a leak if your meet the following qualifications:

  1. Leaks must be detected and repaired (no exceptions)
  2. Total water bill including leak must be over $75.00
  3. An adjustment can only be done once in year (consecutively)
  4. A leak adjustment form must be completed in the Ocoee Utility District office before any adjustments can be made
  5. A receipt or bill for repairs must be presented to the office
